Account DeductionsWhy is FlexiDebit deducting money from my account?Have you spotted a FlexiDebit deduction on your bank account or credit card statement? Not sure what it means? Retailers use the FlexiDebit system to manage interest free purchase plans and to automatically withdraw agreed instalments from your account. This is done based on the terms and conditions outlined in the interest free agreement you signed at the store. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT:The agreement details the store you made your purchase from, items purchased, total amount owing and the monthly instalments you have authorised FlexiDebit and the retailer to deduct from your account. Typically there are two types of transactions: a once-off administration fee; and the agreed number of monthly instalments, which re-pay the store for the purchase you made. To check the accuracy of the deductions made from your account, simply refer to your copy of the interest free agreement and compare the deductions and fees against transactions on your account statement. Should you believe an incorrect transaction has taken place, contact the store where you made your purchase for assistance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the event that you are unable to resolve such a matter directly with your retailer, please contact FlexiDebit on 1300 657984 for assistance.
